Kyrie Irving covered the financial penalty imposed on Houston Rockets player Azeez Al-Shaair for honoring slain Palestinian children, Al Jazeera English reported. Irving praised Al-Shaair's actions as a "selfless act," describing the gesture as a continuous effort to honor deceased Palestinian youth.
Al-Shaair faced the fine after a demonstration related to Palestinians killed in Gaza. Irving paid the penalty, joining other athletes in backing Al-Shaair's advocacy regarding the conflict.
