Israel is preparing a full lockdown of the occupied West Bank following a gunfight in Hebron, restricting movement as the country heads toward Tuesday's election, Al Jazeera English reported. The military measures are expected to affect Palestinian civilians across the territory during the voting period.
The crackdown comes as security tensions escalate on the eve of the ballot. The lockdown was imposed concurrent with the gunfight, affecting movement and daily life across the territory during the election.
