The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor alleged that Israel's exclusion of Britain from its international support center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat demonstrates the facility's true purpose extends beyond humanitarian coordination. The center, formerly known as the Civil-Military Coordination Center, or CMCC, now operates as a mechanism to protect Israeli occupation and settlement policies rather than facilitate aid delivery, the rights group said, according to Shehab Wire.

Israel announced Britain's removal from the center's operations in a move the monitor said revealed the coordination hub's underlying function. The rights organization characterized the facility as serving Israeli strategic interests alongside its stated role in managing international assistance to Gaza.
