Israeli occupation forces established a military checkpoint Sunday at Aqabat Hasana, the main entrance to western villages in Bethlehem governorate, the Shehab Wire reported. A Palestinian youth was detained while passing through the checkpoint.
The roadblock represents a tightening of Israeli restrictions in the area serving as the primary access route to villages in the western rural region of Bethlehem.
