Israeli occupation forces set up multiple military checkpoints at the entrances to Bethlehem on Saturday evening, Shehab Wire reported. Local sources said the checkpoints were installed in the Qabr Halwa and al-Nishash areas near the southern entrance to the governorate.
The deployment marks another instance of restricted movement in the occupied West Bank city, a frequent flashpoint for Israeli military operations.
