Occupation forces targeted a vehicle transporting the body of slain Palestinian Jibr Muqbel near the American port in Gaza City's Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood Thursday, Shehab Wire reported. The strike wounded several of his relatives with serious injuries and completely burned the corpse.
The incident marks an escalation in Israeli military operations in southern Gaza, extending attacks to funeral processions and the transport of the deceased.
