Jerusalem residents and youth launched a widespread call Thursday for a general mobilization to gather at Al-Aqsa Mosque Friday, Shehab Wire reported. The initiative urges concentrated presence in the mosque's courtyards and attendance at Friday prayers to fortify the site and counter Israeli occupation plans.
The appeal reflects ongoing Palestinian efforts to assert control over the Jerusalem shrine amid persistent tensions over access and administration of the sacred compound.
