Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former military chief Gadi Eisenkot are both claiming victory following Israel's election, according to Al Jazeera English. The results have set the stage for negotiations over government formation and coalition-building among competing political blocs.
The dual victory claims signal a contested political landscape as parties position themselves for post-election talks. Israel now faces the process of coalition negotiations that will determine which bloc can assemble a majority to form the next government.
