The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission announced that Israeli occupation authorities confiscated approximately 370 dunams of land from the towns of Abu Dis and Arab al-Swahera east of occupied Jerusalem, Shehab Wire reported. The seized territory lies in areas under Palestinian municipal control on the eastern outskirts of the city.
The confiscation is part of a broader plan to expand the "Mishmeret Yehuda" settlement. Officials said the move aims to transform the existing settlement into a major residential complex, further consolidating Israeli control over land surrounding Jerusalem.
