Al-Mujahideen movement condemned Colombia's establishment of an embassy in occupied Jerusalem, characterizing the move as an assault on Palestinians' rights, Shehab Wire reported. The group did not elaborate on specific objections beyond the fundamental position that foreign diplomatic presence in the contested city violates Palestinian claims.
The embassy opening reflects Colombia's alignment with Israel's position on Jerusalem's status, a designation most countries avoid by maintaining embassies in Tel Aviv.
