Rafah's supply police destroyed 1,191 kilograms of expired and unsafe food products in a joint operation with the Economy Ministry, Shehab Wire reported. The seized items included potato chips and other consumables that had passed their expiration dates.
The confiscated goods were deemed unfit for human consumption and posed health risks to consumers. The operation targeted products that no longer met food safety standards for sale or distribution in the market.
