B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, has urged global pressure to halt Israel's planned forced displacement of Palestinians in Hebron, according to Middle East Eye. The group's appeal follows Friday's attack on Israeli soldiers, which Israel has cited as justification for the expulsions.
The move raises the prospect of mass displacement operations in the occupied West Bank city, a long-contested area of Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
