Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the US Embassy in London to oppose a UK government ban on Palestine Action, the activist group, Al Jazeera English reported. Police arrested supporters during the demonstration, which targeted both American and British policy toward the Palestinian territories.
The protest reflected escalating tensions over Palestine Action's activities and the government's decision to restrict the organization. Activists have mounted repeated campaigns against Israeli military operations and Western military support for Israel.
