The United Nations warned that four out of every five families in Gaza face critical or catastrophic hunger levels, according to Middle East Eye. UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said 94 percent of Gaza's over 2.1 million population are in need of shelter and basic necessities, indicating a severe collapse in access to essential services across the territory.
The warning reflects conditions that have forced the vast majority of residents to depend entirely on humanitarian aid. Families across Gaza lack adequate food, shelter, and basic supplies needed for survival. The crisis has spread alongside widespread displacement from ongoing conflict and the destruction of homes, water systems, and other critical infrastructure throughout the densely populated enclave.
