Palestinian social media users expressed fury and mockery within hours of President Mahmoud Abbas issuing a decree Saturday that canceled legislative elections scheduled for November 28, 2026, and postponed them to September 11, 2027, Shehab Wire reported. The rescheduling also consolidated the legislative vote with presidential elections.
