Cairo will convene talks involving the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hamas, Middle East Eye reported. The gathering aims to address Palestinian unity and electoral matters, though specific dates and agendas were not disclosed in the initial report.
The talks represent a renewed diplomatic effort to bridge divisions among major Palestinian factions. Such negotiations have periodically stalled in recent years amid disagreements over governance and representation.
