Colombia inaugurated an embassy to Israel in Jerusalem, marking a significant diplomatic reversal for the South American nation, Al Jazeera English reported. Palestinian officials condemned the move, which represents a major shift in policy following the previous administration's decision to sever ties with Israel.
The embassy opening signals Colombia's renewed engagement with Israel under its current government, a departure from its predecessor's stance toward the Israeli state.
