Economic researcher Ahmad Abu Qamar said destruction of more than 90 percent of the industrial sector in Gaza poses a threat beyond immediate loss of facilities and factories, the Shehab Wire reported. The damage endangers the economy's capacity to restore production, create employment opportunities, and generate revenue for recovery.
Abu Qamar said the scale of industrial infrastructure damage in the territory extends across employment and economic reconstruction efforts.
