Dr. Khalil al-Haya has survived multiple assassination attempts while losing family members and his home, Shehab Wire reported. The Gaza resident has sacrificed his sons, relatives, and residence in previous attempts on his life but remains undeterred in continuing his work.
Palestinians and Gaza residents confront death threats routinely as part of daily life, according to the account. Al-Haya's resolve to persist despite the threats reflects broader defiance among those targeted by assassination attempts in the territory.
