Hamas praised a stabbing operation carried out by a Palestinian near the village of Al-Auja north of Jericho in the West Bank, Shehab Wire reported. The attack wounded a settler, and the assailant subsequently withdrew from the scene.
In a written statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement said it backs the operation and called for Palestinians to continue armed resistance against the occupation. Hamas framed the incident as part of an ongoing confrontation with Israeli control in the territory.
