Hamas official Bassem Nayeem called on international mediators and the United States to pressure Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government into committing to an agreed roadmap, Shehab Wire reported. Nayeem said the movement expects these parties to compel Israeli compliance with the negotiated terms.
The statement reflects Hamas concerns that Netanyahu may not adhere to the framework under discussion. International mediation efforts have intensified as various parties seek to establish conditions for resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestinian factions, with the roadmap serving as a central point of negotiation between the sides.
