Mahmoud Mardawi, a Hamas leader, said the killing of Qassam Brigades commander Qais al-Bitawi and two associates represents part of a broader occupation campaign against Palestinians in the West Bank, Shehab Wire reported. He accused Israeli forces of deploying military tools to suppress Palestinian will and impose capitulation on the population.
Mardawi said the assassination reflects intensified pressure on the territory but asserted that Palestinians would sustain armed operations. He framed continued resistance as an inevitable response to what he described as relentless military aggression across the occupied West Bank.
