Occupation authorities have issued more than 24,000 administrative detention orders since October 7, 2023, according to Riyad al-Ashqar, director of the Palestine Center for Prisoner Studies. The figure includes both new detention orders and renewals of existing cases, Shehab Wire reported.
Al-Ashqar said the authorities have significantly escalated the use of administrative detention as a practice since the start of the war.
