An Israeli body established to oversee postwar Gaza has failed to meet its core commitments, Zeteo reported. The Board of Peace promised to rebuild Gaza, halt military operations, provide full humanitarian aid, and establish an International Stabilization Force. Instead, reconstruction has stalled, military activities continue, aid remains inadequate, and the stabilization force was never deployed.
Palestinians bear the consequences of the board's inability to implement its stated agenda. The unfulfilled pledges have left Gaza's population without the promised relief and security framework.
