Israel has tightened its siege on Hebron, displacing thousands of residents, Al Jazeera English reported. The measure follows the country's final election results announcement. Details on the scope and duration of the siege were not immediately available.
The blockade coincides with Israeli arrests of people attempting to return to Gaza, according to the report. The siege compounds an ongoing humanitarian situation in the occupied West Bank city.
