Photos of an Egyptian Mi-24 military helicopter displayed at the 2026 Alamein Air Show have triggered questions in Israeli circles about how an Israeli-made missile warning system reached the aircraft, Shehab Wire reported. The alarm system is manufactured by Israeli company Elbit.
The discovery has raised concerns within Israel about the presence of Israeli defense technology on Egyptian military equipment, though the circumstances of how the system was installed remain unclear.
