Israeli forces killed Palestinians in Gaza on the one-year anniversary of a US-brokered ceasefire agreement, according to Al Jazeera English. The attacks occurred despite the deal reached a year prior, which had been intended to halt hostilities in the territory.
The killings came as the ceasefire, signed one year ago, has been marked by sporadic violence and breaches throughout the past twelve months.
