Israeli gunfire and air strikes have killed at least five people in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported Thursday, citing medical sources. Three of the deaths resulted from gunfire in Gaza City and northern Gaza since early Thursday.
The strikes and shooting incidents continued as operations in the enclave remained active, though no immediate details emerged on the circumstances or locations of the additional deaths.
