Israeli forces released Palestinian journalist Abed Abou Shhadeh after a period of detention, Al Jazeera English reported. Shhadeh characterized his arrest as part of what he described as political measures aimed at intimidating Arab society broadly.
The journalist's release comes amid ongoing tensions between Israeli authorities and Palestinian media figures. Shhadeh's account adds to documented cases of Palestinian journalists detained by Israeli forces.
