Israel's culture minister Miki Zohar has accused Oscar-winning directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor of "treason against the state" over their Gaza documentary NAZA, The Guardian reported. Zohar threatened to strip the filmmakers of their citizenship, targeting their work documenting Israeli intelligence operations in the territory.

The documentary features testimony from Israeli intelligence officials about targeting decisions in Gaza, including bombed structures they knew contained children, according to the reporting. Abraham and Szor's previous work has won international recognition, including an Academy Award.
