Israeli occupation authorities compelled Jerusalem resident Jihad Muttawir to demolish his two-apartment residence in the al-Marwaha neighborhood of Beit Hanina, north of occupied East Jerusalem, the Ma'an news agency reported. The municipality cited unauthorized construction as grounds for the demolition order.
The destruction of the building left more than seven family members without shelter. Both apartments belonged to Muttawir and his son.
