Palestinian farmers have harvested approximately 445,000 dunams out of 780,000 targeted for this year's olive season, the Palestine News Network reported. The 57 percent completion rate reflects continued obstacles affecting access to farmland and the collection of harvested crops.
Attacks and difficult field conditions have impeded the harvest across Palestinian agricultural areas. The shortfall leaves 335,000 dunams unharvested as the season progresses.
