London travel fair to promote Israeli settlement agency

World Travel Market London will feature the Jerusalem Development Authority next week, an Israeli agency involved in building illegal settlements, Middle East Eye reported. The agency has constructed projects in occupied Palestinian territories, including in Sheikh Jarrah, a neighbourhood in East Jerusalem where Palestinian families have faced displacement.
The travel market, a major international tourism event, will provide a platform for the authority to promote settlement-linked development. Palestinian rights groups have long opposed international promotion of Israeli settlement expansion in occupied territories.
