Israeli forces killed eight people across Gaza on Friday and issued fresh expulsion orders to residents, Middle East Eye reported. The strikes occurred ahead of the first anniversary of a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza. Families were forced to evacuate their homes following the military directives.
The killings and displacement orders marked a new escalation of tensions as the region approached the ceasefire's anniversary date.
