Abdullah Ma'rouf, director of the Jerusalem Studies Center at May 29 University in Istanbul, warned of the dangers of increasing numbers of settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly during Jewish holidays, Shehab Wire reported. Ma'rouf characterized the escalating incursions as a step to impose facts on the ground that would pave the way for taking control of the site.
