Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alleged Wednesday that "serious suspicions" of foreign interference affected the Israeli elections, Middle East Eye reported. The claim emerged after his Likud party experienced what he characterized as a resounding defeat at the ballot.
Netanyahu did not immediately specify which nations he suspected of interfering or provide evidence supporting the allegations. His comments came as Israel processes election results that reduced his party's parliamentary standing.
