Police arrested more than 100 demonstrators outside United Nations headquarters in New York City on Thursday as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the General Assembly, The Guardian reported. Among those detained were actor Susan Sarandon, whistleblower Chelsea Manning, and comedian Caleb Hearon.
Protesters gathered outside the building chanting demands that Gaza be permitted to survive while Netanyahu spoke to delegates inside.
