Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman rejected a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to participate jointly in military operations against Houthi forces in Yemen, Middle East Eye reported. The denial came despite escalating tensions in the Red Sea region, where the Iran-aligned group has launched repeated attacks on shipping and Israeli territory.
The refusal shows Saudi Arabia has chosen not to deepen military coordination with Israel in the region, even as both face threats from Houthi operations. The kingdom has maintained a measured distance from direct involvement in Israeli security matters.
