Settlers have surrounded two Bedouin encampments east of Jerusalem with barbed wire, Shehab Wire reported. Video documentation showed the wire cordoning off the communities in what appeared to be an effort to restrict movement and access to the settlements.
The encirclement marks an escalation in tensions between settler groups and Palestinian Bedouin communities in the area east of the city.
