Settlers attempted to set fire to Nur al-Din Zengki mosque in Bazaria, northwest of Nablus, early Tuesday morning, Shehab Wire reported. The attackers tried to break into the mosque but were unsuccessful, then set fires at the site. They also vandalized the structure and spray-painted racist slogans across its walls.
The assault represents another attack on Palestinian places of worship in the occupied West Bank, where such incidents have become recurring flashpoints of settler violence against Muslim communities.
