Bezalel Smotrich, leader of the far-right Religious Zionism party, and Moshe Feiglin, head of the Zionut party, announced a joint electoral alliance to contest upcoming Israeli elections, Shehab Wire reported. The move represents the first formal bloc within the country's right-wing political camp and signals a consolidation of hardline factions ahead of the vote.
The partnership comes as both parties seek to strengthen their parliamentary representation. Smotrich's Religious Zionism faction and Feiglin's Zionut had previously operated as separate political entities. By running on a unified ticket, the two leaders aim to pool their voter bases and secure greater electoral strength.
The Israeli government continues operations while the alliance prepares for the electoral campaign.
