Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards today, Shehab Wire reported. The worshippers gathered despite restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation authorities on access to the site.
Crowds from across Palestinian territories converged on the sacred compound to attend the prayers. Participants traveled from the Old City of Jerusalem, neighborhoods throughout the city, and Palestinian communities within the 1948 borders to reach the mosque for the weekly service.
