Democracy for the Arab World Now and the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee called on U.S. officials to end support for Israel that enables settler violence in the occupied West Bank, according to DAWN. The groups argued that ending such complicity is necessary if Washington is sincere about stopping rising violent attacks on Palestinians and protecting U.S. citizens increasingly among the victims.
The statement came as settler violence in the West Bank continues to escalate, with both Palestinian and American nationals facing harm from attacks by Israeli settlers operating in the territory.
