UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese warned of deepening humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, stating that the volume of bombs dropped on the territory equals the force of six nuclear weapons, Shehab Wire reported. Albanese said Palestinians trapped in the enclave face slow death as the bombardment continues.
The Italian UN official has previously documented alleged violations of international humanitarian law during Israel's military operations in Gaza.
