A UN protection force should be deployed immediately to Palestine, according to advocacy groups cited by Al Jazeera English. The call comes as conditions for Palestinians are described as increasingly unsustainable, with Israeli actions making daily life more difficult across the territory.
The report does not specify which UN mechanism would oversee such a deployment or what mandate it would carry. Efforts to establish international protective presence in Palestinian areas have faced persistent obstacles in previous years.
