The New York Times covered Netanyahu's AI-generated video pairing Mamdani, Erdoğan, Khamenei and Abbas as gleeful enemies awaiting his election defeat — a fictional device the Times reported without finding any factual link between the four figures it names.

The Pentagon's leak-hunt polygraph tests of roughly 50 joint-staff officers, reported by the Times and Axios, and diesel's record $5.85-a-gallon price tied to the Iran war, both featured prominently — reminders of how much of Washington's current bandwidth the war with Iran is consuming at the Gaza file's expense.
