Al-Nasser Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Resistance Committees, announced the death of commander Iz al-Din Abd al-Aziz al-Bayek, known as Abu Hamza, Shehab Wire reported. Al-Bayek led the northern Gaza brigade and served as a member of the general military council in the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Battalions.
The announcement did not specify the circumstances or timing of al-Bayek's death.
