The Arab League's general secretariat condemned a raid by hundreds of settlers on the Al-Aqsa mosque Thursday, during which the group performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in the compound's courtyards under protection from Israeli occupation police, Shehab Wire reported. The league characterized the incursion as a terrorist attack on the Islamic holy site.

The Arab League warned against any attempt to alter the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa, which is located in occupied East Jerusalem. Such actions, the organization stated, threaten efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and undermine the foundations of coexistence in the region. Settler raids on the mosque have intensified in recent years, drawing repeated condemnation from Arab states and international bodies.
