A war-damaged residential building collapsed in Gaza, killing 21 Palestinians including 12 children and 5 women, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reported. The structure had sustained damage in a previous Israeli bombardment. Rescue teams pulled 35 people alive from the rubble after hours of search operations, while 45 others were injured, 10 with serious wounds.
Approximately 2,000 inhabited buildings remain severely damaged across Gaza, according to the centre.
