Economist Ahmad Abu Qumr warned of a dangerous shift in commodity and aid flows into Gaza, the Shehab Wire reported. He described the sharp decline in humanitarian aid trucks alongside a gradual increase in commercial vehicles as marking what he termed "engineering of starvation."
Abu Qumr's analysis pointed to the proportional reversal in shipment patterns entering the territory, highlighting the displacement of relief deliveries by commercial cargo as a deliberate structural change in goods movement to the enclave.
